Discover the beauty of Kinusaiga, a traditional Japanese fabric art technique that creates the look of quilting without a single stitch. In this relaxing and beginner-friendly class, you’ll create a stunning Hummingbird & Florals artwork by layering and tucking fabric into a pre-designed panel to build rich color, texture, and dimension.

Often described as “painting with fabric,” Kinusaiga combines creativity, color selection, and simple techniques to produce a finished piece that looks intricate and impressive. Whether you’re an experienced crafter or trying something completely new, you’ll be amazed at how quickly your design comes to life.

During class, you’ll learn:

• The basics of Kinusaiga (no-sew fabric art)
• How to select fabrics for depth and contrast
• Techniques for tucking and shaping fabric
• Ways to create dimension and movement in your design
• Tips for finishing and displaying your artwork

Your class kit includes all materials needed to complete an approximately 8” x 10” finished project, and you’ll leave with a beautiful piece ready to display in your home or give as a gift. (Frame not included)
