Ready to add a little SHINE to your creative projects? Join us at The Studio at Paper Arts for The Foil File: Foiling 101, a three-hour, hands-on workshop devoted to exploring the many ways you can use foil in paper crafting and mixed media.

This isn’t just a “watch me demonstrate” class—you’ll actually try the techniques yourself, create samples to keep for future reference, and learn which foiling method works best for different projects.

During this class, we’ll explore 8 different foiling methods, including techniques using adhesives, transfer products, heat, specialty tools, and more. We’ll talk about which foils work with which methods, how to get clean transfers, and—maybe most importantly—how to troubleshoot those frustrating moments when your foil just refuses to cooperate!

You’ll leave with:

• Hands-on experience with 8 foiling methods
• Your own technique samples/reference pieces
• Tips, tricks & troubleshooting information
• A better understanding of different foils, tools and products
• A complete take-home foiling kit so you can keep experimenting after class
